Walking Humbly With Christ

It is tempting to think that when things are going well, God is pleased with us and when they aren’t, that we have done something wrong. Perhaps this kind of reasoning is more comfortable than taking responsibility for the choices we have made. Such an attitude is a disservice to God. God does not keep tally to determine rewards and punishments. God is constantly pouring His love and grace in the midst of good and bad times. During this Lenten season, believe and trust that God loves you all the time.

Prevent Child Abuse Prayer Service

Please join us on April 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Healing Garden, located at Holy Family Parish, 1080 W Roosevelt Road, Chicago, for a prayer service for preventing child abuse. The planting of pinwheels is a reminder that child abuse and neglect happen in every community and encourages us to focus on prevention as part of an overall plan to break the cycle of abuse.
